FAQs

Where are you located? Do I have to come in?

Our base of operations is located in New York City, but we work with licensed practitioners and pharmacies that serve both Florida and New York. All visits are conducted virtually, and medications are mailed from the pharmacy directly to your home.

What are your BMI requirements?

There are no specific BMI requirements, our providers treat patients on a case-by-case basis based on a patient’s specific needs.

I don’t have type 2 diabetes. Will I qualify?

LikeRose’s goal is to improve the quality of life of our patients and provide preventative care for conditions like type 2 diabetes, however, it is not required to receive treatment.

Do you accept insurance? Do you accept FSA/HSA or Care Credit

No, we do not accept FSA/HSA, Care Credit, and/or insurance.

Where does the medicine come from? Do you make it? What pharmacy do you use?

Like any doctor’s office or clinic, we do not sell medication.  We contract with licensed compounding pharmacies and provide customer service to ensure that your medication is fulfilled.  We determine the best pharmacy to use based on your state of residence, medication availability, and, of course, your preference.

Is blood work required?

The vast majority of the therapies we offer do not require blood work.  However, enclomiphene therapy does require initial blood work, but we can accept blood work from another provider that has been completed in the past 6 months.

Do I need a consultation every time I need a refill?

No, medication refill requests can be easily submitted once you are approved for therapy.  Follow-ups are required for any major changes and/or when determined medically necessary.

Is there a cancellation fee or any contract I must sign? Can I cancel anytime?

All sales are final, however, there are no cancellation fees or contracts.  We offer subscription services with automatic refills, however, this can be canceled at any time before the refill date with no penalties.

Can I share this medication with my daughter/spouse etc?

No.  Any medication that is prescribed is prescribed for you only and must be used under the care of a licensed medical provider.

Can I switch therapies?

To switch therapies all you must do is add the service to your cart and checkout.  If you are approved for the therapy the provider will send you instructions for use and submit the prescription to the pharmacy.  If you are not approved you will be contacted to clarify why you were not approved or to gather additional health information.  If you are determined to be ineligible for the therapy, you will receive a full refund.

What do I get for the advertised price?

The advertised price includes customer service regarding orders sent to compounding pharmacies, medical care regarding your therapy, and access to “no additional cost” for medications sent from one of our contracted compounding pharmacy partners.

Are all supplies included?

The cost of medication and supplies will be included in the cost of the therapy service if you choose to use one of the pharmacies that LikeRose has contracted with. If you choose to use a local pharmacy we will still provide you with the therapy, care, and support, but any medication and supply costs must be out of pocket
